Refurbishment Project
Ambitious refurbishment plans are well underway for our sanctuary in Kirriemuir. The works being carried out involve the removal of the pews within the downstairs area of the main sanctuary, the creation of two breakout rooms and a welcome area, all of which are constructed with bi-folding glass screens. Lowering the chancel area and incorporating a ramp for disabled access. Installation of new floor coverings, lighting, heaters, audio visual equipment and repainting. The works will allow the use of the breakout areas, welcome area and remaining sanctuary by a variety of both church organisations and community groups.
Although we have a significant part of the funding already in place, meeting the costs would put a serious strain on our reserves and limit our ability to respond to any additional work needed in Kirriemuir or Tannadice. We are, therefore, seeking to supplement the grants and reserve funding by means of additional support through donations from our members and supporters.
If you are able to consider a donation, please download this form, fill it in, and return it to the office. Alternatively, please contact the office directly.
These changes will help our church to be more flexible, more accommodating, more available.
By the end of 2025 the Parish Church in Kirriemuir will have a refurbished sanctuary with meeting rooms, conferencing facilities, and an all-round more usable space.
This will be in addition to our existing hall space.
We have our own plans but we’d like to hear what you might want to use the space for.
